Coming up this weekend in Golden Gate Park. 6 Stages. Free

I will only be able to attend on Sunday - So sunday by stage, which stage would you set up camp in? And maybe move once...it's a story of too many stages, not enough time!

Any recommendations? I'm thinking Emmy Lou Harris for my headliner, but then there is Keller Williams/Steve Kimock and the gang >> http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/

All said, the Star Stage looks tasty...decisions!

Yo mando, tho your prob not attending due to distance, what would be your recommendations for sunday?

c2 -

I'll be at Festy in Nelson County, VA starting tomorrow through Monday. But HSBG Fest is on the bucket list....

Sunday's lineup looks fantastic. I'm not sure how mobile you are between stages, but if it were me, I'd bust my ass to see the following:

Rooster Stage:
11:00 AM - Jim Lauderdale

Banjo Stage:
1:20 PM - Peter Rowan
2:45 PM - Ralph Stanley
4:15 PM - Tim O'Brien

Star Stage:
4:05 PM - Del McCoury
6:00 PM - Keller Williams, Steve Kimock, etc.

I know you said you would prefer only one move, but there looks to be plenty of time to get from the Jim Lauderdale set to the Peter Rowan set. I'd definitely be parked up front close for Del McCoury. He is a showman - chances are he'll have a guest or two sit in. Wouldn't be surprised to see Rown, O'Brien and/or Lauderdale with Del.

Enjoy!! Looks like a great line-up. Take lots of pics and let us know how it goes, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back in town Monday sometime and will post a Festy After Action report as soon as I can.
